Ratna Singh is the founder and CEO of CAR.O.L, the world’s first interactive exercise bike powered by artificial intelligence to make fitness short, smart and scientific.

As a serial entrepreneur with international business experience spanning consumer brands, Ratna noticed a gap in the fitness market for clinically tested efficient exercise. She co-created the concept of CAR.O.L in response to the inactivity epidemic she observed while running chronic disease management programs after co-founding Integrated Health Partners. Ratna found that the answer to this epidemic was in the science-backed application of high intensity interval training, more commonly known as HIIT. Ratna and her co-founder Ulrich Dempfle worked together to take this innovative health-tech out of the lab and into the home.

Prior to founding CAR.O.L, Ratna successfully sold her first startup to Safeway US, served as the first Entrepreneur-in-Residence at McKinsey & Company and co-founded health consultancy firm IHP, which later sold to PwC. Ratna holds a MBA from CASS Business School, as well as a degree in microbiology from Kings College in London.
