My guest today is Don Matesz,

Don has been on a lifelong quest since the age of 13 to realize his full physical, mental, and spiritual potential. Along the way, he has conducted long self-experiments with both animal- and plant-based diets, including both strictly carnivorous and strictly plant-based diets.

Don Matesz, M.A., M.S.O.M., Dipl.Nutr. is been a member of MENSA and holds Master’s degrees in both philosophy and Oriental medicine, and a diploma in nutrition from the American Academy of Nutrition (now the Huntington College of Health Sciences). As a philosopher he has specialized in studies of epistemology, metaphysics, soteriology, and philosophy of science. He co-authored one of the first popular paleo diet cookbooks THE GARDEN OF EATING. For several years he taught a History of Nutrition and Detoxification course to medical students at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. He was a featured speaker at the first ever Ancestral Health Symposium at UCLA in 2011. He has earned a certification as a resistance trainer from the International Association of Resistance Trainers (I.A.R.T.) and has more than 40 years experience with strength training and bodybuilding.
