Episode #05 - An Interview with Chris Masterjohn PhD

This episode is a little different than our previous shows, I ask Chris to break down nutritional fats for you!

There is a ton of confusion when it comes to optimal fats for your health and with his knowledge and easy to follow explanations, hopefully we can dispel some myths and give you some insight into what science says about nutritional fats.

Chris earned his PhD in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Connecticut in the summer of 2012. From September 2012 to August 2014, he served as a postdoctoral research associate in the Comparative Biosciences department of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. From August 2014 to December 2016, he served as Assistant Professor of Health and Nutrition Sciences at Brooklyn College, part of the City University of New York.

In the fall of 2016, he made the decision to leave academia and pursue entrepreneurship a transition he completed on January 1, 2017.

He currently conducts independent research, consulting, working on information products, collaborating on information and technology products, and producing tons of free content to help people gain better health.

He has a deep and personal experience with the power of food, movement, and mindfulness to support health and well-being; and he wants to share his knowledge with you!
